Is there a minimum order?
Yes — $20 for shipped orders. Orders under $20 automatically include a small order fee to bring the total to $20 (you’ll see it in the cart before you pay). Shipping one $4 cable across the province costs more than the cable — the minimum keeps our prices low for everyone. Orders over $75 ship free.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes — by prearrangement. Email orders@shoptechshelf.ca before ordering and we’ll set it up. Most of our stock ships directly from our suppliers’ warehouses, so pickup needs to be arranged in advance to make sure your items are on hand at our Abbotsford location. Prearranged pickup is free — no shipping charges.
Where do you ship?
Currently British Columbia and Alberta. Flat rate $14.99, free shipping on orders over $75. See Shipping & Delivery for details.
Do you sell to businesses?
Yes — we offer business accounts with preferred pricing for IT shops, contractors, and volume buyers. Email orders@shoptechshelf.ca to get set up.
What about firewalls and larger projects?
We design, supply, and support complete Netgate / pfSense+ solutions — multi-site VPNs, VLAN segmentation, WAN failover, and ongoing support. As one of only three Netgate partners in BC, we stock locally. Request a solution quote.
Can I place an order without creating an account?
Yes — guest checkout is available. An account just makes reorders and order tracking easier.
Can you help me find the right part?
Yes — email webadmin@shoptechshelf.ca with your device make/model (or a link), what you’re connecting it to, and what you’re trying to achieve (e.g. “USB-C laptop to HDMI monitor”). Photos of the ports or labels help us answer fast. We typically reply within 1 business day.
Can you source a product you don’t carry?
Yes. Send the details (brand/model, specs, quantity, postal code) to webadmin@shoptechshelf.ca and we’ll confirm availability, pricing, and ETA.
